FOOTBALL AND MUSIC V IBWM #1
Thursday, May 26, 2011 The first half of our collaboration.
If you've never visited the brilliant Football and Music website, then you really have missed out.
The site editor at F&M, Webbie, has been a good friend of ours for yonks now and we talked about working on something together a while back. Preferring to let music do the talking, Webbie has put together two very special podcast/mix compiliations for us. The theme? El Diego Maradona. Who else.
We love different here, so if you listen or download this expecting 'football banter', you'll be disappointed. Stick with it though, we think Webbie is a bit of a genius, so we'll hand over to him. Part two is available to download next week. Enjoy.

Greetings. I first saw the Footie & Music pocast via @footieandmusic tweet and asked him about doing a Maradona theme since lord knows there's fodder for several best fo volumes. Webbie (I reckon that's who tweeted me) pointed me to your site and this download- awesome and oh so cultured. My first choice was a bit 'simpler' ... Great listen, was sceptical at first but it's a joy, if you're reading this and in two minds, give it a go. The Argentinian commentary segments are class.
Beyond brilliant!
