SAY GOODBYE TO AMERICA BY SAMUEL CLAIBORNE
The New York poetry veteran releases his first rock LP - Love, Lust And Genocide - as a self-released project, eschewing the more avant-garde nature of his previous releases. Claiborne admits to not being the greatest singer or musician, but long-time collaborator Tomas Doncker, who plays guitar on the record, was able to impress on Claiborne was his ability as a writer. And it's ideas to the fore in this LP.
We feature Say Goodbye To America, the opening track, which depicts the Occupy movement of 2011 and the associated anger. Grungey yet lo-tempo, it's a bit good.
