I DON'T KNOW BY ULRIKA SPACEK
First off, great name.
Secondly, krautrock is alive and well. This could easily be Can and, lest there were any doubt, that is A Good Thing. From London via Berlin, Rhyses Edwards and Williams came together to make this record with the help of others, though they remain the driving force. They cite influences such as Sonic Youth, Deerhunter and My Bloody Valentine, but the Berlin angle is ahrd to dismiss. They create quite a soundscape with guitars that meld together harmoniously and then crash into each other.
And while debut album The Album Paranoia is in the can and on sale, work on the second is already underway.
