JINGO BELLS BY THE CRAVATS
Stop us if you've heard this tale before. Ageing punks, not seen for many years, come back with new state-of-things material and it turns out to be really good.
Following on from the likes of Nightingales, The Pop Group, Rocket From The Tomb and plenty others come Redditch's The Cravats with their first new material in ten years - their second in 30. It's sax-infused punk of the traditional style, though The Shend's idiosyncratic vocals are obviously more developed these days.
The bus driver in the video, incidentally fact fans, is Penny Rimbaud of Crass.
Jingo Bells came out on March 11 on a double-A with Batter House. Get it from Rough Trade. They're on Twitter @thecravats and have been spotted supporting Sleaford Mods among other gigs.
