Yet another band from the seemingly endless conveyor belt of talent emerging from South Wales, FFUG might be the cream of the crop.

Maybe the Super Furry Animals broke a barrier for bilingual Welsh acts, maybe not, but there are more around and FFUG are one. Indeed, they've already supported SFA on tour. And they're young - very young. Despite that youth, their lyrics are very aware and the track Speedboat Dreaming, out now, calls for the flooding of Welsh villages for English reservoirs to be consigned to the dustbin of history. 
The track is a portent of their debut album, due out at the end of the month.
