THE HISTORY OF MELBOURNE HEART
The History of Melbourne Heart is a photo-blog which has followed the journey, thus far, of a newly formed Australian football club which began its belated A-League campaign in the competition’s sixth season.
The blog began when friend of IBWM and blog editor Harry took his camera along to Melbourne Heart’s very first match back in 2010. Hoping to get a few snaps as a memento, he quickly found himself shooting at nearly every match he attended, “I never intended for this to become such a large project, or a project at all for that matter! I just thought it would be kind of fun to take some shots and look back at them in years to come.”
The project has become so large in fact, that Harry has recently recruited good friend and fellow Heart supporter Baz, to share some of the workload, “Harry required a some technical assistance with the blog’s online presence to which I was more than happy to help push in the right direction, also being an amateur photographer I was very keen to contribute my own work to the blog”.
The History of Melbourne Heart is an independently run blog that aims to give its audience a realistic idea of what it is like to be involved with the club, documenting the highs and lows as they come.
