Snaps ahoy and the vibe this week comes from Chemnitzer FC's home game against Kickers Offenbach which was played in late April.

Our man Danny Last took in the sights and sounds of Dynamo Dresden v Energie Cottbus at the Glücksgas Stadion recently. 

David Bauckham loves the FA Vase. He put in a 600-mile round trip from East Sussex to County Durham to capture the magic surrounding Shildon AFC's semi-final second leg with Tunbridge Wells which ended with the visitors booking a Wembley date for the Final in May.

Noted, again, for events off the pitch rather than those on, the Rome derby took place last weekend and our man in Rome, Adam Lloyd, was there once again with camera in hand.

During 2012 the final chapters of my homage to the Råsunda Fotbollstadion was written. On the 22 November the stadium’s main tenants, Swedish league team AIK Stockholm, said farewell to their home of 75 years with a Europa League tie against Napoli; a game that showed almost every spectra of the game we love, including a last-minute goal which meant AIK lost 2-1.

“It isn't always your choice of camera, but the photographers eye, that counts” so the Guardian Camera Club state in an effort to make those of us who don't much fancy splashing out an arm and two legs on multiple lenses feel better about themselves.
