Adidas have released a new UEFA Champions League match ball alongside a version of both the ACE boot and the X boot. All three have been inspired by the national symbol of Wales and feature a dragon print design. 

The dragon design has been given to Adidas' boot range. The new boot designs feature the usual technical innovations. 

The X16 features the dragon design in a imagined in a striking white colour way. A coating of Non-Stop Grip film gives players unrivalled levels of control. The boot also features a Sprintframe outsole offering stability. 

The ACE17 boot comes in a black silo with the dragon design on. Designed for flexibility and control, the usual technical innovations have been used such as Primeknit for premium comfort and Non Stop Grip for enhanced control. A stretchable layer of Techfit material optimises comfort while a black EVA strip features above the heels Boost to offer stability. 

The matchball is designed by designers who travelled to Cardiff and drew inspiration from the power and strength of the dragon represents in Celtic mythology - the dragon print is is designed to represent the ferocity with which the final stages are played. 

The ball features an outer coating texture which provides an optimal grip, while the thermally-bonded star panel design provides a seamless surface for improved first touch. 

The ball will be used from matches played on 14th February until 3rd June.
