As one of Europe's leading newspapers, the UK based Guardian are no mugs when it comes to football either. Not only do they write some fantastic stuff, they have impeccable taste too. Each week the Guardian sports writers select their favourite football stories from across the internet and we are very proud to say IBWM has featured regularly.
On the social networking side of things, we get lots of mentions on Twitter too and we have have well over 10,000 followers. In January 2011 IBWM was recommended so many times that we made the top 20 (we were number 19) most recommended twitterers* in the UK four weeks running. The only football realted twitterer ahead of us was Rio Ferdinand. We have a lot of people to thank for that.
IBWM regularly has more than 15,000 daily visitors and on Friday 7 January 2011, more than 16,000** visited IBWM, something we are hugely grateful for and very proud of.......but we think that we are still just scratching the surface. IBWM is regularly read by some of the world's most influential writers, journalists, broadcasters and editors. We work closely with the BBC, World Soccer magazine, TalkSport, Nike, adidas, Colorsport and some of the biggest publishing houses to name but a few.
