SMACK MY PITCH UP*
As we, and a good number of other like-minded folk, count down the days to the release of a new Prodigy album, word reaches us that the band are investing in grass roots football.
After hearing that junior side Eastleigh Reds Under-13s' train to the dulcet tones of 'Warrior's Dance', the band stepped in with a deal to supply kit for the team.
Speaking to the NME, Eastleigh Reds coach Chris Chapman said: "I'm blown away that Liam (Howlett) was up for it. The team were stoked and immediately started asking if The Prodigy could come to see them! It's a good match though because the lads are a bunch of football prodigies!"
The Prodigy’s sixth album, provisionally titled 'How to Steal a Jet Fighter', is set for release in 2013.
