For many, there is a perception that football stadiums in Brazil, preparing to don their finery for next summer’s jamboree, resemble little more than half arsed building sites.  While there remains a fair bit of work still to do across the country, it’s nice to be able to relate to something a little more ‘touchy feely’ and these photographs, of the revamped Mineiráo in Pampulha by photographers Leonardo Finotti and Joana França, offer an insight into a very grand, and very complete, theatre.  This time next year and all that….
