TRUE COLOURS BY STUART ROY CLARKE AT THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL MUSEUM

A year on from hanging some of his greatest hit pictures in an inaugural exhibition at the National Football Museum, Stuart Roy Clarke returns to its Hall of Fame area with a new selection in his Homes of Football style “…except that these are grittier, raw. True Colours reminds us that supporting one’s club, or embracing a new one, is surely LOVE but can be uncomfortable.

“…Fans join the players in the Hall of Fame. This includes ‘Christine’, bawling her head off as her Latics overturn mighty Liverpool in this season’s Cup.”

Hull City, Cardiff City, Rotherham United, FC United are just a few of the clubs featured.  The eighteen new works will be on show, with free admission, from July 12th until the end of the year.
