TONI KROOS: TECHNIQUE
22 today.
We like Toni Kroos, but then if you followed our 100 project, you would know that already. Don Balon listed him as one of the best in 2011, and so have we for 2012.
As we know, Joachim Löw have a veritable Smörgåsbord (or whatever the German equivalent is) of prodigiously talented young players at his disposal. Thomas Müller, Sami Khedira and Mesut Özil have already lit up one international tournament and it’s not unreasonable to suspect that Mario Götze and Marco Reus will do the same in this summer’s European Championships. But the player that may cause the biggest impact, over the longest period, could quite easily be Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos.
Wonderful technique, strength and stamina are all here, and we see Kroos as a real slow burner of a player, someone that could easily emerge from just below the radar to become one of that planet’s most influential.
Compilation videos on YouTube have come a long way in recent years, and this is a nicely shot, enjoyable little romp through Toni’s best bits.
Enjoy and many happy returns Mr K.

Can not agree more. Kroos will be the key player for Löw. I've put a piece on my website on Kroos with a different approach:
