THE SUNDAY REF

The Sunday Ref is the work of Spain based production company Kauri Multimedia, who specialise in storytelling through still photography, video and audio. 

The subject of the film, Francisco López, oozes football.  At 69, he continues to referee Sunday league matches after a life dedicated to the game.

Francisco reflects on his footballing life, shares his love for the sport and explains what this passion can mean to others.  His thoughts and the world he lives in represent football in its most genuine form. 

Needless to say, we love this.  Enjoy.
