One man who could be forgiven for watching the English game turn on itself and affording himself a little chuckle is Fabio Capello.
A completely avoidable series of incidents apart, it would be him stood on the sidelines in Ukraine overseeing his England side lumber around being largely ineffectual. The ridicule heaped on him during his time with England was ludicrous, as if his stilted English in any way diminished his standing as a coach and, frankly, he's best off out it.
You look at Capello's frame and it's clear he's a big lad. As a player, he used that full frame to good effect, but he was also graceful as he got around the pitch. As he turns 66 today, here's some footage of his time with Juventus in the early '70s which displays his full range:
