Warren Borg and Buddy Peace combine samples, sequencing and dirty beats with bleak, throbbing guitar and a poetically angry lyrical twist. The album SDR007 is out now on Speech Development records, the label set up by house favourite Scroobius Pip who lends his own vocals to this track which breaks down into two different sections - the meaning of love on one side and a coruscating savaging of Morrissey on the other - punctuated with the changing of a cassette (there's one for the teenagers). And yet despite that, it absolutely works as a whole.
