BEAST BY EX HEX

Formerly of Helium, Autoclave and Wild Flag, Mary Timony now fronts a three-piece called Ex Hex - itself the title of Timony's 2005 solo album - who purvey a strong line in good old-fashioned rock n roll. The debut album is Rips which came out last October and it's barely been off the office turntable for a couple of weeks now. There is simply not a bad track on there.
