Nottingham duo Jack Wiles and Mark Connell are Practical Lovers. Who knows, maybe with a lower case P and L as well - we simply don't know.
Wiles's distinctive vocals lie over the top of an unusual combination of throbbing bass and quite light and delicate electronica on this track which has been around for a while, but also forms part of the debut album Agony which is due out on the day this article gets published. Meanwhile, the lyrics are as inspired, bleak and hypnotic as anything you'll find outside of a Wedding Present track.
