CITIZEN ZOMBIE BY THE POP GROUP

It's 35 years since their last album, For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder?, was released. 1980. Bleak. A year into Thatcher's reign of terror. Now look around you. And with not very much - notable exceptions apply - coming from contemporary bands on the current political situation, it's old hands that recognise the parallels to whom the baton falls. We featured Gang Of Four recently, for example, doing much the same.

The new album is Citizen Zombie which came out a couple of weeks ago and, from it, this is The Mad Truth.

Post punk provocateurs The Pop Group have collaborated with acclaimed Italian director and actress Asia Argento on the video of their first single Mad Truth from their forthcoming new album, Citizen Zombie. "Collaborating with The Pop Group is a dream come true.
