Imagine the Killers could complete an idea and not be really trite with their lyrics. Yes, it is a bit of a stretch, but if they were capable of seeing an idea through to completion, then we reckon they'd sound a lot like Lux Lisbon, a four-piece formed at Nottingham University and since relocated to the smoke.
The EP Get Some Scars is musically and lyrically intelligent and covers a broad spectrum of themes. But at a time when many are bemoaning the lack of politics in popular music, we highlight here Bullingdon Club, prescient as Parliament dissolves today ahead of the General Election.
