Dreamy, shoe-gazey psychedelia from that there London which pulls off the clever trick of echoing a number of influences - contemporary and past - without sounding like any of them. They also achieve that balance of retrospection and modernity - they sound incredibly fresh and current despite the obvious 1960s cues. It's inventive stuff and we like nothing better round here than inventiveness.

Love, Hippies & Gangsters is a psychedelic rock band from Dalston, London formed by Yiğit Bülbül in 2014. Influenced by 60s psychedelia/garage, 70s experimental music, 80s/90s guitar drones and all sorts of other weird, obscure music.
