COME ON IN MY GUN BY INDIA MILL

Named for an enormous former textile building in their home town of Darwen, we've been aware of India Mill for some time. Their album Under Every Sky is almost a year old, but we appear to have overlooked it until now. So here, have a gander at the belting sound of Come On In My Gun and then go seek out the rest of the album while we ensure we're less tardy in future.

From the debut album UNDER EVERY SKY, released 24th November 2014. LYRICS: The surface is bleak, the water so wide, The valley too deep, the heaven so high, Fall away from my reach, beyond the grasp of my speech, When it’s all over there, it’s so much harder to care, Sold into love, sold into life, So come on in my gun, you never get old just blind, Cultivating my time, swinging deep and wide, Along the surface of things, you slip and you slide, Sold into love, sold into life, So come on in my gun, you never get old just blind, (solo) It’s the little things, they get you through, All the things that you say, the things that you do, Sold into love, sold into life, So come on in my gun, you never get old just blind. Written & performed by India Mill. Produced by Mark Jones @ mjmrecording.com Artwork by Daniel Davidson.
