2012/13 RIVER PLATE BY ADIDAS

After the most *eventful* of periods from 2008-2011, Los Millonarios are back in Argentina's Primera División and, hopefully, the path to a brighter future begins here. 

Nobody is expecting River to pull up any trees just yet, but youngsters Lucas Ocampos and Ezequiel Cirigliano offer a glimpse of better days ahead.  Perhaps more significant than promotion for the first XI was River's youth team winning the U-20 Copa Libertadores recently, defeating Uruguay's Defensor Sporting in the final.
