2013 LDU DE QUITO BY UMBRO

South American pre-season action here and a 'friendly' Superclásico de Quito between Ecuadorian rivals Aucas and LDU.  The match, played at LDU's famous 'Casa Blanca', was won by the home side 3-1, but offered the club a chance to show off their new white kit for the forthcoming season, tailored by Umbro.

After a few concerns following Umbro’s departure from the Nike stable, we are delighted to report that the famous English brand is in good shape since becoming part of the Iconix group.  We caught up with some of the chaps at Umbro this week and there are a number of new releases planned for the coming months with South America quite the hotspot .  Great news for anyone who appreciates understated design and true football heritage.
