AS ROMA DERBY KIT 2016 BY NIKE

NIKE football has unveiled a new special edition kit for Italian capital side AS Roma, which will be worn in the Derby Della Capitale.

The kit, which honours the club's link with the eternal city, is a dark red with gold metallic details. 

On the collar, SPQR is knitted in, standing for “Senatus Populusque Romanus,’ which translates from Latin as “The Roman Senate and People”. These initials have been used to represent Rome for over 2,000 years. 

Francesco Totti, club legend and captain, helped launch the kit. It is the first time the club have had a special edition kit for a game against fierce rivals Lazio. 

The AS Roma Derby Della Capitale kit will be available from November 29 on nike.com and asromastore.com, and from November 30 from Nike and ASRoma retailers.
