adidas unveiled their latest boots today; the Stellar pack. These a continuation of the extra terrestrial theme started by the Mercury Pack and Speed of Light Pack. They say this collection is inspired by the light side of the moon - probably to the dismay of Pink Floyd fans - in a white and gold colour and come in the X16+ PURECHAOS (which sounds brilliantly mental) and Ace 16+ PURECONTROL styles.
The ACE 16+ PURECONTROL features a white Primeknit upper and is a development of what was the world's first high-performance laceless boot upon release; designed with maximising ball control in mind. They will be worn by Paul Pogba and Mesut Özil, amongst others, from the 27th September.
Alongside those, the X16+ PURECHAOS is designed for the fastest players. Amongst other features, the SPRINTFRAME outsole offers stability during high-speed play. This model will be worn by big names such as Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez.
Those who have visited adidas' flagship stores across Europe will have already seen these through a PlayStation®VR; a double whammy of newness as these people were the first to see these new boots and experience Sony's virtual reality Playstation headset before its release. You can try this out until October 9th.
The boots will be available from selected retailers and adidas.com from September 30th.
