TOTTI X ROMA TIEMPO BY NIKE

Nike have revealed the new limited edition Francesco Totti special Tiempo in celebration of the talisman's illustrious and magnificent career. The boots are limited to 2500 pairs, 100 pairs for each year of his fantastic 25 year career. 

Totti is known for his love for AS Roma. After becoming captain in the 1998/99 season, he went on to be known as 'Il Capitano' and, due to his stature in Rome, is regarded as the Eighth king.

The upper of the boot is crafted in soft leather in a gold colourway to honour the Italian's achievements over time. 

“When I thought about a boot that could reflect the 25 years of my career, I immediately thought of gold. This boot had to encapsulate all my values — my family, AS Roma and the city of Rome. Nike understood straightaway how to create these boots”

Personalised with 'Totti' on the heel counter, the boots also feature the names of his three children; Christian, Chanel and Isobel. The names have been produced in his handwriting. 

The boots feature the signature elongated tongue with them having 'Aeterno' on the inside whilst the outside has the Roman numeral 'X' in reference to his sacred number 10 shirt. 

The Tiempo Totti x Roma boots will be available from nike.com, the pop-up Totti X Roma store in Piazza San Lorenzo, Lucina and select retailers from today.
