CR7 CHAPTER 4: FORGED FOR GREATNESS BY NIKE

The new CR7 boots is a nod to hot iron links it to how Cristiano Ronaldo quickly proved himself worthy of the number '7' shirt at Manchester United and how he forged his game and physique. 

The upper features molten-like orange and red gradients that transition into metallic tones providing a wonderful, colour shifting aesthetic. 

The CR7 logo has been used on the side of the boot, as usual, but features a prominent '7' against the 'CR' to highlight how he has cemented his name as one of the best to wear the number. 

'28' in Roman numerals is featured on the heel counter which is Ronaldo's previous number. The VII of the XVIII stands out showing his shift from 28 to 7. 

The boots will be available in both Superfly, Vapor and NikeFootballX versions on nike.com from April 10th.
