WINSTON VARGAS' NEW YORK

Over the last few months we’ve searched for a photographer that captures the absolute essence of New York City. Someone whose timing and eye for a shot is unsurpassed, a master of their craft able to relay drama and emotion via a single click of the lens. 

Our aim was high, but we didn’t expect to find someone as perfect as Winston Vargas.

Capturing outstanding imagery from Wall Street to Washington Heights, Winston is the best street photographer that you haven’t heard of.  Over half a century he’s taken photographs from across his home city providing a monochrome narrative to events as diverse as Gay Pride to the outpouring of grief following Bobby Kennedy’s assassination.
