RIVER: EL MÁS GRANDE, SIEMPRE

Despite everything being in place to make it just about impossible, River Plate still managed to get themselves relegated from Argentina's top flight last year.

David Trezeguet scored twice in the second-half on Saturday evening to give Matias Almeyda's side a 2-0 victory over Almirante Brown ensuring that River finished top of the Primera B Nacional ahead of Quilmes, securing promotion.
