Actor centres around Leeds songwriter Louisa Osborn. In collaboration with producer Chris Mulligan and drummer Ste Anderson.
It's pop, not that there's anything wrong with that, but offers something more than froth. Osborn explains that new single Uppercut "was inspired by a Billie Holiday lyric 'I’d rather be lonely than happy with somebody else'. 'Uppercut' personifies the ugly punch you unwillingly have to take when you have to give someone up."
