The delightful t-shirt above is the latest in a long line of stylish efforts by 3nil, and represents one of the lesser known stories of the 1930 World Cup.

On 30th June, Uruguay defeated Argentina 4-2 in a dramatic final. But before the game, FIFA had to intervene in a dispute between the two sides and decreed that each would provide the match ball for half of the game. The rest, as they say, is history - but the tale is told subtly in this classy clobber.
