A slick new look for Indonesia's national team, as they step on to the pitch in new kits from Nike and embark on a journey to win Southeast Asia’s most prestigious biennial football championship: the Asian Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2012, held from November 24-December 22.
The Garuda National Team jersey features the Garuda emblem on the left chest, providing strong motivation' to each player wearing it. Printed on the inside of the jersey is the phrase ‘Bhinneka Tunggal Ika’, or ‘unity in diversity’ which serves as an inspiration for the team. In addition, inspiration was drawn from the Garuda National Team uniform from the 1950s, with distinctive green elements incorporated in the arms and below the jersey.
