NEYMAR SIGNATURE "WRITTEN IN THE STARS" MERCURIAL VAPOR BY NIKE

Neymar and Nike reveal the Brazilians first ever signature boot. The new Mercurial Vapors are title 'Written in the Stars' and shares the story of how Neymar is fulfilling his destiny. 

The player was tabbed for greatness at a very young age and he is currently on track to fulfill his potential. 

Inspired by the Brazilian flag, the boot takes on a volt and blue orbit colourway. Many highlights of Neymar's career have been referenced on this boot including his debut goal for Brazil vs USA at just 18 years old. 

Alongside this reference, Brazil's triumph at the Olympics is also referenced and so is Brazil's five stars. His little sister's date of birth is included on the boot and so is his son, David Lucca. 

The dotted geographical figures on the boot represent Barcelona and Brazil. 

Several of Neymar's goals are commemorated including his 100th goal which he scored on his 20th birthday. His legendary goal vs Villareal is also referenced. Neymar scored this goal in the 85th minute, where he flicked it over the defenders head and striking it past the keeper. This type of play has been labeled daring and joyful. This has been paid homage to on the aglet of the laces with the words "Ousadia" and "Alegria" being used.
