THE PEOPLE'S FA CUP RETURNS

Ever dreamed of playing in the FA Cup? Well, sorry, we're not here to answer those dreams. We can provide an alternative, though.

The FA People’s Cup - a 5-a-side competition- is returning to stadia around the country giving normal people the chance to live out their own FA Cup dream. It is completely free to enter and welcomes male, female and disability players across 16 categories – ranging from U14s through to veterans (over-35s). You can either enter your own team or play solo with the latest “Wildcard” addition (where you are allocated a team).

The FA People’s Cup is entering its third year. With 40,000 amateur players due to take part across sixteen categories from U14 boys and girls to veterans to disability teams, it is The FA’s flagship grassroots competition running alongside The Emirates FA Cup. This year the FA are looking for passionate football bloggers, YouTubers and writers to enter either as teams or as wildcard entries and partner with The FA to share their stories throughout the competition.

IBWM will be entering a team, so see you on the pitch?
