USAIN BOLT AND MO FARAH X SOCCER AID BY PAUL COOPER

Manchester based photographer Paul Cooper has photographed two Olympic legends, Usain Bolt and Mo Farah as they join the Soccer Aid teams to play the Charity match “Soccer Aid”  at Old Trafford on the 10th of June.

Cooper, portrait and advertising photographer, says: “It ’s not every day you get to photograph such iconic legends of sports who between them they have 39 World and Olympic gold medals!”

The resulting images were used across media channels worldwide and promotional materials across the country to help promote the Charity football match on June 10th.

Cooper added “They are both big personalities and their energy really translated into the photos, although some of their keep up skills were a bit suspect!. It’s great they are supporting such a worthy cause which will help poverty stricken children across the world."

The photoshoots were sponsored by Direct Digital which has offices in Manchester and London and Paul used Profoto Pro-10 packs to freeze the action of the fast moving athletes.
